This page is a clearinghouse for issues I ran into while using application. It is a wish list of features that I can quickly jot down and then review for adding to the appropriate bug tracker later. Feel free to beat me to the punch and file bugs or leave a comment of an open source app that already offers this functionality.
- Rhythmbox (lastfm plugin or really any random track filler) – Need the ability to mark tracks I liked and even purchase them with a single click. I’ve recently been listening to LastFM while working and the song “The Hat” from Ingrid Michaelson came up. I’ve never heard her before but I liked the song so much that I wanted to remember to look out for her album for purchase. Unfortunately in RB I had no way to easily click on the track and “add/purchase” it and have it show up in RB. LastFM uses a radio format so you can only listen to the songs in the order they are added to the LastFM playlist. I should still be able to add this to my playlist by purchasing it. Sure you can go to one of the store plugins to do this but that means searching for a song I have already found. There needs to be a link where any song that is being played can be purchased if found in one of the store plugins or if not, saved to a wish list. That wish list can every once in awhile search the stores to see if the artist or track has been added.
