It's an Associated Press story so there's no reason to link to it on a registration-required newspaper site. Google "AP Laptop project enlivens Peruvian hamlet By FRANK BAJAK, AP" and it's on lots of free sites, e.g. yahoo or hosted.ap.org

It uses google translations which does suck though I don't think there are better ones. The nice thing about google translations is it allows you to fix the translation. Please feel free to do so, that would be great.

I read the post at planet.gnome.org, and clicked the [ru] translation link and the result was a little disappointing. Even a drunk translator won't say that (except if it's a native English, not Russian, speaker).

Interesting, I guess they are tracking since I can get to it. I shortened the url to not include the GET parameters so perhaps that will fix it.
