Hehe, Python *is* typed (strongly and dynamically), and the function annotation thing is *not* typing annotation -- it can be, if you use some kind of decorator that enforces it, but, it is more like another kind of documentation, probably to appear in help(), along with the docstring.
Looking foward to Python 3.0 here too!!!</description>
