Good on you mate!
The One Campaign replaced Make Poverty History in the USA because people didn’t seem to repond to it as well as in other places, but basically it has the same goals.
Doing your bit to help achieve a more just world is always worthwhile, no matter what anybody says.
You’ll find people come up with all sorts of justifications for not doing anything to help end poverty, usually so tehy feel better about their own lack of action or compassion.

How is this different from what was on makepovertyhistory.org a couple of years back. And all politicians do is pump money into corrupt governments which don’t provide any aid to their people. Look at the tsunami relief fund and how much of it has actually helped..
