I recognized the movie instantly. Must I be afraid ?

Most people who don’t like that movie don’t seem to understand that it’s essentially a comic book. It’s like hating Superman solely because, you know, OMG HE FLIES PEOPLE DON’T ACTUALLY FLY HOW DUMB.

Hey, that film is just great. Don’t listen to the dialogues (although they’re funny), listen to the music
And don’t take it too serious

Superman ruined comics. Now you can’t use the word “comics” without people thinking “cheesy crap where people wear neon spandex and can fly and please don’t take anything at all seriously”.
Sadly, Superman isn’t even a very good comic. It’s certainly no excuse for a bad movie.
(Now somebody is going to say “People who don’t like Superman don’t understand that it’s essentially a movie”. Bleh.)
Someday, somewhere, people will understand that medium is orthogonal to content.
