		<description>Well, I apparently failed your captcha the first time (a letter was either a W or M and was impossible to distinguish between the two--I guessed wrong) and lost my post, so I&#039;ll summarize.

I&#039;m excited to hear that you want to empower others to get involved.  We&#039;ve tried to do more in that direction with the release team in particular (e.g. http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2005-October/msg00064.html and an older too-scary-to-the-community-version at http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2004-September/msg00361.html), but we still have a ways to go I think.</description>
