It has been decided and I will be skiing at the Val Thorens resort in France around the New Years. Ski in Europe – Scratch that one off the TODO list.

Congrats!
Val Thorens has really good skiing! If my memory serves me right you have around 600 km of skiing disposed on over 120 slopes! I recomend a visit on the highest point, but I don’t recomend running the last 10-15 meters… Had to wait for ever to regain since it’s on over 3400 meters!
Oh, and the beer tastes fabulous on the many verandas!

I’ve been there too a couple of years ago. Really good pistes and a lot of fun is all I remember

I’m planning to go Val Thorens in January. The place is perfect for off-piste skiing and the apres-ski is excellent.
Cheers! Alexander
