Every single person who has held the controller agrees that Nintendo has created something extremely promising and incredibly inovative. Some have even gone so far as to call Nintendo's latest offering a "Revolution" ;)

You should read this blog: www.4colorrebellion.com

This is the definitive source for all things revolution/Nintendo related.

I understand the type of immersion you are referring to however the post about zelda, and some other titles rings very true. these games get you very involved and hello, the revolution controller when used appropriately for games that can benefit from it will literally make you the character. No immersion from Nintendo I suggest you take a closer look at the possibilities. Yes I'm a Nintendo Fan Boy, but a revived one. I have been a sony fan for the entire life cycle of ps2 but with nintendo ds, and now revolution Nintendo has wooed me back.

I wonder why it doesn't look like in this Nintento Revolution Video, which promisesnew experiences too: http://media.cube.ign.com/articles/613/613578/vids_1.html
Looks better and more powerful than the console on the pic you posted.

You have played games like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Metroid Prime haven't you?

The Wind Waker for example is incredibly immersive, making you feel as if you are in a cartoon. I don't see a significant difference between this and God of War (which is fantastic, by the way).

There's also third party stuff like Resident Evil 4 too...
