As FC3 comes closer to shipping my stress levels are rising. Thats ok because in short bursts I actually like the feeling. I think that is the endorphins counteracting everything else. Climbing up in Nashua twice a week is a great way to releave stress. Other things in my life are stressing me right now also, though again I can’t say I mind the stress as long as it comes to some sort of resolution in a short amount of time.

Good to see Python is being considered for use in core Gnome apps. Many Gnome hackers and Gnome companies use Python a lot and it is nice to see that such a simple yet powerful language is being endorsed by the project. It will make it a lot easier for newbie hackers also. Not that they couldn’t use the bindings before but if the approval goes through it drops the fear of hacking on something that has no chance of ever getting into the core. Not that any old pyGtk app will be accepted but at least there is a chance vs no chance without the endorsment of the Gnome project.
